THE FRATERNITY OF ROSE CROSS AND KINGDOM FOR SON OF JESUS

http://www.diplomaticobserver.com/news_read.asp?id=1340

We had published an article entitled “the Mystery of 12 Stars” concerning the European Union's flag. Now we are publishing an article as the continual of that article. Since secret expressions through secret codes, codes and symbols hardly exist in our religion, it may be harder to understand some realities. But because of the fact that the European flag is “coronet of Mother Maria under blue sky” – in this condition, it becomes hard to understand what or with whom the EU identifies and which projections it consists towards the future- it must also be mentioned on “the Fraternity of Rose Cross”.

According to European sources, the European flag refers to 12 tribes of Israel and 12 apostles of Christianity. The European flag depicts “Judaist-Christian” history of Europe. The following expression in 12 gates of Jerusalem and Johannes' Revelation 12,1 clarifies many details;

“It appeared an exceptional sign, a woman wrapping herself up in sun in the sky. The moon is under her foots and there was a coronet which is made up of twelve stars on her head.” The birth of Jesus has been accepted as “the birth of God's people” and “a new beginning of the history”. The European flag consists of “promise for salvation and being chosen”.

In one respect, here “the Fraternity of Rose Cross” is complementary to this issue.

A tie between rose and cross – According to the doctrine of the Rose-Cross movement- is a symbol of Revival and Salvation. Members of Golden-Dawn fraternity carried a symbol of Rose-Cross which was made up of 22 different colored leaves of flower on their breasts. These leaves signified 22 letters of Hebraic alphabet and 22 ways of Life Tree which tied 10 Sefirot's with each other. It is formed a geometrical symbol which can represent every mental-spiritual power. Its name was conveyed in Hebraic letters in the past, but with the help of the time that is written on rose, it was drawn a motif which allows every letter to tie with each other in later times.

Christian Rosenkreuz (1378-1484) is regarded as legendary founding father of secret society which is called as its name. The most important representative of alchemy in Western Europe, Paracelsus was raised in 16'th century. Paracelsus became a historical leader of “the Fraternity of Rose Cross” which is the most mystical organization in the history of Christianity.

Paracelsus is certainly regarded as an invention of J.V. Andreae (1586-1654). The belief of being a secret fraternity organization based on Rosenkreuz has continued until this century (Golden-Dawn fraternity). In 18'th century, particularly supporters of Gold and Rosenkreuz referred to this name.

It can be definitely said that there were no the Fraternity of Rose Cross and its supporters before 17'th century. It is thought that the idea of Rose Cross emanated from the desire of overzealous Protestant for second and comprehensive reformation.

The most leading experts about these issues in Turkey Aytunç Altýndal said that in late periods, Andreae began to adopt a cautious approach about his early book he wrote to mock alchemical and theosophical fantasies of fake miracle workers, astrologists and supporters of the heretical fraternity's book in his early period. Members of this secret organization were “free spirits” who wanted to explain the mysteries of nature. Within this process, they invented the nature's new characteristics and forces which are described as “occult” because of its lack of harmony with usual concept of world. Mystical and metaphysical component of this alternative doctrine became gradually weaken since the occult characteristics of nature were understood better through experiments as time passed.

In Christianity, “Rose” signifies Mother Maria. She is representative of wisdom. Christian prayer bead is called as “Rosary” producing from the word of “Rose”. The most favorite emblem of European was Rose. The roses and their colors in these emblems signified political chooses. According to this, while emblems which consisted of red roses signified to have loyalty to Mother Maria and the Church she represented (Orthodox and Catholic), emblems which consist of white roses signified that those who carried this emblem preferred primarily Protestantism and Kingdom (state) and they swore to die on the name of them. Therefore dynastical wars in Great Britain are called as “Rose Wars”.

The target of “the Fraternity of Rose Cross” was to ensure the salvation of the humanity;

“To salvage humanity... According to Christianity, Mother Maria gave birth of Jesus in “a supernatural ways” so that Jesus comes back to heaven in “a purified condition”, that is, without “first sign” which is the cause of all evils, sufferings and miseries in the world. Therefore Mother Maria was “a mysterious rose”.

Jesus will take “salvaged people in New Jerusalem” to Heaven” by establishing “New Jarusalem” (Aachen city in the past, the EU now) and salvaging firstly his believer, then Jews and finally, some sincerely religious Muslims because of being son of Prophet Abraham.

Some organizations were established for this mission; the most interesting and mysterious one of them was “the Fraternity of Rose Cross” which read and communicated in a secret language.

When it is mentioned on “Rose and Cross”, it is understood “the reformation of religious, cultural and political relations”. At the same time, according to Max Heindel, it is regarded as “the relations of religion, science and philosophy with realities and mysteries of life”. According to Frans Hartmann, revival and salvation find meaning through these symbols.

It must be asked if necessary; the US salvaged Iraq and Afghanistan through the Crusades –As Bush said-, didn't it?

A very interesting manifesto was issued in Germany in 1614. The entitle of the booklet was also interesting: “Fama Fraternis of the High Society of Rose Cross, being about General Reform of the Entire Universe and addressing to all European Wiseman and Kings who followed this”. Manifest was a call of members of the secret society of Rose Cross (Rosecroix), who “seems to closely interest in the future of humanity” and introduced the name of their society through this publication for the first time, on European intellectuals and those who interested in esoteric sciences.

The Fraternity of Rose Cross supported some important leaders of Protestants such as Martin Luther and Calvin. Even there was “a merged cross and rose” in monogram of Luther. Perhaps there may be more. Since British author James Dewar argued that Luther had joined to this organization 20 days ago before he launched a movement by burning Papacy's order'.

British historian Michael Howard wrote that members of the Fraternity of Rose Cross were Austrian leaders during reformation.

Even it is speculated that Isak Newton, Victor Hugo and General De Gaulle were members of the Fraternity of Rose Cross. According to speculations, this organization defended that an individual descendent from Jesus are still living in the World and it wanted to give the EU to him as a kingdom.

It is claimed that there are other members of the Fraternity of Rose Cross among founders of the European Union. These figures included Robert Schuman, former French President François Mitterand and also another French President –at the same time he prepared the European Constitution- Giscard d'Estaing...

We have known Giscard d'Estaing for recent times from his fervent opposition to Turkey's accession by showing Islam as an excuse.

Perhaps we must also suspect Sarkozy and Villepin. Even we must suspect from Schussel and leaders who have still opposed to Turkey with religious excuses and mentioned often on “Christianity” and “”belief” in Austria which was reformed by members of the Fraternity of Rose Cross.

Turkish public have hardly understood that how some leaders of the EU could oppose to Turkey with arguments of 500 years ago and why they moved with political ethics of 500 years ago. The reason is this...

Actually it is not easy to be reformist when being a member to an organization whose rules were laid down during Luther's time and whose course has not likely been changed from that time. These troubles of membership of a secret organization must be regarded as natural.

Giscard d'Estaing could not publicly say that “I said this by view and orders of a secret organization to which I'm a member”. Even he could not say that he identified the EU with Mother Maria and the Messiah will rule the EU in one day!

The states which show most fervent opposition to Turkey are France, France, Austria and Germany. At the same time these states are the cradle of the Fraternity of Rose Cross. It must not be a coincidence.

Other members of the Fraternity of Rose Cross included in President of French Intelligence Agency Alexandre de Marenches and also in former CIA officials William Casey, John McCone and former US Secretary of State Alexander Haig.

Jan van Helsing gave these names in his book entitled “Secret Societies and their Power in the 20'th Century or how isn't the World Ruled”

You may think that a relative to Jesus does not live today. Even you may regard as ridiculous that the EU is at the hand of secret organization to that extent or the establishment of “the Kingdom of Earth” and “heaven” for one who is suspected to be him.

But if it is not absurd for those who have power to do this, you can do nothing....

But those who have opposed to Turkey by “religious reasons” and “for belief” and defended that the EU was built on Christian and Judaist values must answer to the questions whether or not they are member of the Fraternity of Rose Cross.

NEW DOCUMENTS REGARDING ARMENIAN ISSUE

http://www.byegm.gov.tr/YAYINLARIMIZ/CHR/ING2001/02/01x02x23.HTM

Writer Aytunc Altindal obtained reports of 550 foreign doctors who worked between 1885- 1920 in Armenian-populated area. Reports prove Armenians were not killed. The reports of French, Italian, German and Swiss doctors will be published as a book and will be distributed in the UN and European Parliament. Reports say Armenians died of diseases, accidents and old age. There are also reports on killed persons, but the notes say they were killed during the attacks of Kurdish groups. These Kurdish groups immigrated later in 1923 to Iran and Iraq. Reports say the number of Turkish, Kurdish and Circassian people killed are much greater than the Armenians killed. /Sabah

Bilderberg Black Out

To witness the annual Bilderberg conference is to realize how the “Lords of the New World Order”—the self-chosen elite of international finance, business, and politics—are allowed to assemble in secret and conspire with the connivance of the mainstream media.

Exclusive to American Free Press

By Christopher Bollyn

  http://www.americanfreepress.net/05_24_03/Bilderberg_Black_Out/bilderberg_black_out.html

G iven the tumultuous events in the Middle East and the serious strains in U.S.-French relations, one would expect that an event near Paris, in which scores of key U.S. and European officials meet with the heads of international finance and business, would attract considerable media attention. However, while Bilderberg 2003 at the historic Trianon Palace at Versailles was an extraordinary gathering of the global elite, it passed with scarcely a word in the controlled press.

In the historic Trianon Palace Hotel, where the Versailles treaty was handed to the defeated Germans after World War I, the individuals who head the world's largest oil companies and financial institutions convened during four days, in total seclusion, with selected political leaders and media owners.

Because of the near total blackout of Bilderberg in the mass media, knowledge of what was going on in the Trianon from May 15-18 was limited to those who read James Tucker's articles in American Free Press .

The Trianon Palace is a luxury hotel immediately adjacent to the magnificent grounds of the palace of Versailles. The entry to the hotel sits near the Grille de la Reine , a gated entry to the royal park built by the 17th century French monarchs, King Louis XIII and his son Louis XIV.

Some of the well-to-do residents of the neighborhood of the Trianon, unaware of what was occurring in the hotel, were shocked to discover that their cars had been towed away early on Thursday, May 16, as Bilderberg security had demanded.

By mid-day the street leading to the hotel had been completely cleared and a security cordon set around the entire neighborhood. Local residents who lived within the security perimeter were obliged to identify themselves to Bilderberg security and armed national police at the checkpoint at the end of the Boulevard de la Reine.

‘LIKE FORT KNOX'

The hotel property was thoroughly checked for mines and every vehicle was carefully examined for explosives at a second checkpoint before being allowed to come near the hotel. Bomb sniffing dogs scoured the neighborhood.

“It's like Fort Knox,” said Christian Ebel, the local resident whose silver Porsche had been taken away on the back of a truck the day before. Ebel said he had never seen such security measures before in France.

The people of Versailles were noticeably puzzled and upset by the security measures that prevented them from entering the park at the Grille de la Reine to which they are accustomed. Security personnel, unable to explain the reason for such intense security, failed to answer the question everyone asked: “Why can't we go to the park?”

Standing by the security checkpoint hoping to catch the Bilderberg arrivals on film, I was able to explain to the bewildered locals what was happening in the Trianon and how they could enter the park by using the Grille du Dragon at the end of the nearby side street.

On several occasions, particularly when I was alone, officers of the CRS ordered me to stop taking photos although I presented my international press card when asked and remained on public property. When I asked by what law I was being ordered, one CRS officer said: “I don't know by what law. I have my instructions to tell you to go away.”

Early on Friday morning, I helped a large group of school children held up at the checkpoint to get into the park.

Later in the afternoon, the group returned and I gave a short lecture about Bilderberg to a few dozen interested 10-year-olds as Bilderberg security and the French CRS riot police stood behind me.

One resident of Versailles who was aware of the power and influence of Bilderberg told me that the French press had neglected to report what was occurring at the Trianon.

“There has not been one word in any French paper about Bilderberg and there won't be tomorrow or the next day,” he said. “The French press is not as free as the press in your country.”

Another resident told me he had seen the president of France's national assembly, Jean Louis Debré, while jogging in the park.

While the mainstream U.S. and British press are unlikely to discuss Bilderberg in any detail, the fact that the conference was occurring in Versailles was reported on the British Broadcasting Corp. (BBC) news web site in a short piece titled “Elite power brokers' secret talks” by Emma Jane Kirby on May 15.

In January, during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, American Free Press had asked John Simpson and others from the BBC why the government-owned network reported extensively on the Davos event yet completely ignored Bilderberg.

Bilderberg “delegates” at the “closed meeting” of the “world's financial and political elite” were “expected to be focusing their attention on post-war Iraq,” Kirby wrote for the BBC.

With Iraqi oil high on the agenda there was no surprise in seeing Peter Sutherland, chairman of British Petroleum, attending David Rockefeller's Bilderberg conference along with Queen Beatrix of Holland and Queen Sophia of Spain. Photographs of the limousines with darkened windows indicate that King Juan Carlos of Spain also attended.

“By anyone's standards, it is a bit of a mystery,” the BBC's Kirby wrote about Bilderberg. With its meetings “cloaked in secrecy” it is unclear what Bilderberg actually does, she wrote, adding that it is “an extremely influential lobbying group with a good deal of political clout on both sides of the Atlantic.”

Two journalists from BBC radio, Simon Cox and Richard Vadon, interviewed Tucker during his daily 5 p.m. press conference at a nearby hotel. The “Club Class” program on Bilderberg is scheduled for July 3 on Radio 4 in Britain.

Two Turkish reporters also covered Bilderberg 2003, as did a couple from Norway's leading business daily, Dagens Næringsliv .

Tony Gosling of Britain, who publishes the web site Bilderberg.org filmed the arrival of conference attendees and their Saturday afternoon excursion to the Chateau of Versailles. It was during this excursion, when some 70 Bilderberg participants rode a tourist train from the hotel to the chateau, that I was able to photograph the attendees and meet David Rockefeller in the park with his bodyguard.

During the Bilderberg conference, two of Turkey's largest newspapers, Hurriyet and Zaman , reported that, despite Muslim opposition, Turkey's Treasury Minister Ali Babacan was attending with a handful of state bureaucrats.

Zaman wrote: “ ‘This, the first serious en counter between the new Justice and Development Party (AKP) government and the “Lords of the New World Order,” which have been following Turkey closely for years, is truly significant,' says researcher Aytunc Altindal .

“ ‘Some demands will be made of the AKP there,” Altindal said. ‘If they satisfy the demands, they will feel free in foreign and internal politics, otherwise they will find themselves in a very tough situation indeed.' ”

The Norwegian journalists were interested in two key Norwegians who were attending: the head of Nor way's state bank and the chairman of Norway's largest energy and chemical company, Norsk Hydro.

A comprehensive article on Bilderberg is due to be published in Dagens Næringsliv a week after the conference.

Apart from a few local college students, no other journalists or photographers were seen covering the Bilderberg confab in Versailles.

In a May 16 article on WorldNetDaily.com titled “World government in action,” Joseph Farah asked: “Do you believe there are powerful people who conspire together annually to solidify their grip on world domination? Do you believe all of this happens in secret, with the quiet complicity of the world media?”

“There really are conspiracies at work. There really are powerful people plotting world domination,” Farah wrote about the Bilderberg gathering in Versailles.

“And they really operate in near-total secrecy as the world press sits on its collective duff.”

On May 20, American Free Press asked David Oakley, news editor at London's Financial Times , why Britain's leading business daily did not cover the Bilderberg conference, while others did.

“We are very, very busy,” Oakley said. “We would write about it, even put it on the front page,” he said, “if we could find out what they are talking about.” To write about it otherwise, Oakley said, “does not move the news agenda along.”

On May 21, Financial Times published a feature article mentioning Bilderberg by Martin Wolf.

WALL STREET JOURNAL

But the Wall Street Journal, which is always represented by Paul Gigot, editorial page editor, is standing fast to its pledge of secrecy.

AFP called Gigot at WSJ's New York office. He was “unavailable” said his secretary, identified only as “Marianne.”

She sounded surprised by the question but acknowledged that Gigot was at the Bilderberg meeting in Versailles.

Why does WSJ never report on Bilderberg?

“He's a participant, not a reporter,” she said. “Participants don't report on this.”

“But it is a major story being ignored,” AFP said.

“Why is it a story?” she challenged.

“When you have 120 world leaders in international finance, political leaders, including heads of state and high officials of the U.S. government, how can that not be a story?” AFP asked.

A pause followed, then AFP added:

“Bilderberg meetings are sealed off, reporters are not allowed in.”

“That's their problem.”

“And Mr. Gigot will report nothing?”

“I told you, he is a participant and participants don't report on these meetings.”

In fact, “participants” are ordered to give no interviews and report nothing on what transpires.

“When your paper, The Washington Post and all three major networks participate and promise to not report, is this not a conspiracy?”

“I told you, you have to ask them,” she said, terminating the conversation.

Background to deferral of Pope's visit.

The announcement yesterday that the Turkish government had given the official nod to a visit by Pope Benedict XVI next year is being interpreted in Turkey as a brush-off to another invitation by Patriarch Bartholomew I who invited the Pope on 28-30 November, for the Orthodox feast of St. Andrew. The pope had earlier accepted Bartholomew's invitation but under diplomatic rules he had to be formally invited by the Turkish president since he is the Vatican head of state.

In the official invitation, the Turkish president Ahmet Necdet Sezer, said the visit would allow the Pope to see close up the environment of tolerance in Turkey and help the pontiff in his promotion of inter-religious dialogue.

However, analysts say there are two reasons behind the delay of the visit to 2006.

First, Ankara is seeking to buy time to make more changes in religious freedoms, in case Benedict XVI touches on such politically sensitive issues as non-Muslim minority rights or the reopening the the only Orthodox seminary in Turkey, situated on the island of Heybeliada off Istanbul. Backed by the European Union, Patriarch Bartholomew I is campaigning to reopen the seminary which has been closed for more than 30 years. Ankara has said it is willing to reopen it, but no concrete action has been taken so far.

The second reason is the controversial status of the Patriarch Bartholomew I. Ankara refuses to recognize Bartholomew's title of ecumenical patriarch - which denotes leadership of 250 million Orthodox worshippers in the world - since it is a political status.

Turkey treats him only as the spiritual leader of some 2,000 Orthodox Greeks in Turkey . The papal visit is considered a sign of precious support for Bartholomew's case, to cajole the Turkish government into accepting his universal title.

Nationalists and conservatives in Turkey accuse the Orthodox Patriarchate in Istanbul of seeking an independent, Vatican-like status. They accuse Bartholomew I of playing politics, to seek the support of countries such as Greece and the United States to extract concessions from Ankara .

An allegation by Turkish researcher
Aytunc Altindal in the magazine Tempo also highlighted a potential controversy concerning Hagia Sofia, a former Greek Orthodox church converted to a mosque, now a museum, and universally acknowledged as one of the great buildings of the world.

"If the pope prays in Hagia Sofia, it will create a big problem", according to
Altindal. "The status of the 1500 year-old 'originally church-then mosque' has since 1934 been that of museum. Radical Islamic groups have campaigned many times to convert it into a mosque. Each time they failed, but in Christianity, the places where pope prays are holy places".

So if the pope were to pray there on November 30 to celebrate Saint Andrew's Day, radical Muslim groups, who have been campaigning for many years, will get angry and may react fiercely" he claims.

Benedict XVI would be the third pope to visit Turkey , after Paul VI in 1967 and his predecessor John Paul II, whose 1979 visit - his first foreign trip - was aimed primarily at enhancing dialogue between the Catholic and Orthodox churches, split since 1054.

Paul VI asked to pray in Hagia Sofia but was refused, on the grounds that the place is a museum.

Before becoming pope, Benedict XVI had publicly spoken out against Turkey 's bid to join the EU and advised the country "to set up a cultural continent with neighbouring Arab countries".

Talks are due to being on 3 October on Turkey 's eventual membership of the EU, but there is fierce debate around whether or not the country should be allowed to enter the 25-member bloc.

groong - Turkish nationalists protest pope visit.

A small group of Turkish nationalists on Sunday protested a possible visit by the pope, and the deputy premier criticized the Greek Orthodox patriarch for inviting the pontiff without first consulting the Turkish government.

Turkey 's government on Thursday announced its own invitation to the pope to visit sometime next year, effectively canceling the Orthodox patriarch's earlier invitation for the pope to visit in November.

Turkey refuses to recognize Greek Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew I as the spiritual leader of the world's 200 million Orthodox Christians, considering him only the spiritual leader of Turkey 's tiny Greek Orthodox minority. Bartholomew's personal invitation to the pope faced strong opposition here.

On Sunday, a few dozen members of the youth wing of the ultra nationalist Great Unity Party demonstrated near the sixth century Hagia Sophia - a famous Istanbul landmark and once Greek Orthodoxy's holiest shrine - after some newspapers speculated that the pontiff would pray inside the building. The church was long ago converted into a mosque, then a museum.

Bartholomew had invited Pope Benedict XVI to Istanbul , the seat of the patriarchate, for the Orthodox feast of St. Andrew in November. Benedict has made healing the 1,000-year-old rift with the Orthodox Church a goal of his pontificate and officials at the Vatican said the pope wanted to accept the invitation but was waiting for the agreement of Turkey , the host country.

That agreement did not come and the Turkish government is now waiting for the Vatican 's response to its invitation to visit in 2006.

Turkey considers the pope to be the leader of a state, the Vatican , and has insisted that protocol dictates he be invited by the Turkish president.

Sahin said Bartholomew should have sought the consent of the Turkish government before inviting the pope.

"The patriarchate is a Turkish institution and the patriarch is a Turkish citizen," said Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Ali Sahin. "It is more appropriate for the patriarch to send his invitations through the Foreign Ministry in the future."

The patriarchate dates back to the Orthodox Greek Byzantine Empire, which ruled the region from Constantinople . Some of finest churches in the world graced the city, which was then largely Greek.

Muslim Ottoman Turks conquered the city in 1453 and renamed it Istanbul . Its Greek population has since dwindled to less than 2,000. The Greek Orthodox patriarchate is in a relatively poor section of the city and is still a place of pilgrimage for Greeks.

Turkish officials had been deeply uncomfortable with the possibility of a papal visit that would focus on the church.

Turks fears that recognizing the patriarch's global influence could create a Vatican-style mini-state in Istanbul that would act against Turkish interests.

Many Turks also regard the new pope as unfriendly.

As Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, the pope questioned whether the European Union should open its doors to predominantly Muslim Turkey, saying its membership might be incompatible with European culture. Turkey hopes to start membership negotiations with the bloc on Oct. 3.

aki - German vote: Turkish press reaction.

Turkey's mainly pro-EU media has welcomed the provisional results of this weekend's German elections, in which Christian Democrat leader Angela Merkel's conservatives have secured a narrow victory but lack a majority to govern. "Shock to Merkel" is the headline of the liberal daily Hurriyet. It writes; "Expecting an overall victory, CDU leader Merkel is disappointed. Her policy against Turkey 's membership to EU did not bring her extra votes".

Pro-Islamic and pro-EU Yeni Safak argues that this result is beneficial for Turkey . "Privileged response to Merkel" the headline says, referring to her proposal of 'privileged partnership' for Turkey , instead of full membership of the EU. The daily claims that to form a coalition, the conservatives will have to compromise on Turkey 's EU bid.

Liberal Milliyet says that anti-Turk stance did not benefit Merkel. "The results of the German election is chaos. Gerhard Schroeder - a staunch supporter of Turkey 's entry into EU - filled the gap and finished the race very close to Merkel. If the conservatives and the social democrats form a coalition and if the new foreign minister is from the social democrats, then it will be very difficult for Merkel to carry on her mission to stop Turkey entering the EU", Milliyet writes.

"Coalition inevitable" says another pro-EU daily, Sabah . The vast majority of the Turkish-German citizens voted for SPD, according to Sabah . An estimated 600,000 of the 2.6 million Turks in Germany are German citizens with the right to vote.

All newspapers also profiled the 3 Turkish-German deputies, Lale Akgun (SPD), Ekin Deligoz (Union 90/Greens) and Hakki Keskin (PDS) who were elected to parliament.

Milli Gazete

Milli Gazete publishes a front-page report entitled "New Pope Dissolves Catholic Marriage," which quotes journalist Aytunc Altindal as saying that Ratzinger's election as the new Pope has dissolved Turkey's "Catholic marriage" with Europe (as Prime Minister Erdogan referred to Turkey's ties with Brussels) because of Ratzinger's demand for the addition of provisions to the EU Constitution saying that "the EU's professes Christianity and its values are based on the Christian culture."

In a 750-word article entitled "Ratzinger's Election and Its Possible Critical Implications" on page 4, Milli Gazete columnist Hasan Unal argues that Joseph Ratzinger's election as Pope does not augur well for Turkey's prospects of joining the European Union, adding that Ratzinger might fuel the rising anti-Turkey sentiment in European countries, in this way giving the "political elite" in Europe opposed to Turkey's accession a good excuse for leaving Turkey out in the cold.  (Istanbul Milli Gazete (Internet Version-WWW) in Turkish--Mouthpiece of the Felicity Party (SP), affiliated with Necmettin Erbakan's National View Organization--Root URL: http://www.milligazete.com )
